Manchester City have finalised the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian forward joins City for a fee of approximately €70 million. He has signed a deal with City through 2029.
"This is a day that I will never forget," Marmoush said.
To join Manchester City, one of the top clubs in the world, is a wonderful experience.
I'm really delighted, my family are proud and we're all thrilled to be in Manchester.
"Players have everything they need to develop under Pep, the coaching staff, and with the facilities here. That was a huge consideration when I had the chance to sign.".
"I also wish to win trophies. City has dominated English football for a number of years, so I feel that I am joining a winning culture and a good environment. I want to learn from the staff and the other players, and I want to be a key player for this winning squad."
I am excited to get into it, meet the rest of the players, and present myself to the Manchester City fans and give them something to see."
Manchester City sporting director Txiki Begiristain added: "Omar is a talented and dynamic forward, and I am happy he has chosen to join us.
"He's had a great season, and whenever we've seen him, he has made an impact.".
"He has everything to be a top striker. He's so quick and aware of what's going on out on the field, and he's such a good finisher as well. He can play in so many other positions as well, which is brilliant.
"I think also that training with Pep and the coaches here at City will help him continue to develop his outstanding attacking ability."
