Mohamed Salah sets Premier League record in Liverpool's draw at Newcastle.
It was an amazing performance by Mohamed Salah, for in that performance Liverpool coolly a 3-3 match drew with Newcastle and set a memorable Premier League record for most matches by a player both having scored and assisted.
Salah achieved that record-breaking number of 37 times which passes everyone else in the entire history of the competition.
It was all fantastic when Salah assisted Curtis Jones, just after the start of the second half, then scored two himself to give Liverpool a very fleeting lead-first in the 68th and then again in the 83rd minutes.
It's a good effort from his part as the two goals made him the current leading marksman in the Premier League for the 2024-2025 season, netting 13 goals, which keep the forum of excellent standings on his behalf with the Reds.
