Adidas unveils the Official Match Ball for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™.

adidas announced as Official Supplier for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™
FIFA Partner presents the iconic ball inspired by the host nation USA Connected ball technology helps referees make faster and more accurate decisions at a unique tournament
After being appointed as the Official Match Ball Supplier for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, long-standing FIFA Partners have unveiled the iconic design and cutting-edge technology that will characterise the Official Match Ball for the tournament.
The design of the ball pays tribute to the host nation, using prominent designs and logos that are linked to the heritage of the United States of America. The ball features a pearlescent background and a serrated edge pattern featuring red, white and blue stars and stripes, a nod to the flag of the host nation.
The ball is designed to deliver greater levels of precision during play by using PRECISIONSHELL, 20 strategically placed and hidden grooves on the outer surface of the ball. Beneath the outer layer, performance is further enhanced by CTR-CORE technology, designed to maintain precision and consistency during ball travel, helping the ball retain its shape and airflow for greater speed and accuracy during play.
The Connected Ball system also sends Impedance Measurement Unit (IMU) data 500 times per second directly to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), while also using player position data and artificial intelligence, helping VAR make faster offside decisions and monitor every touch of the ball, reducing the time wasted in making decisions on specific situations, such as a possible handball.
In addition to the Official Match Ball, adidas will provide the official uniforms for the referees, volunteers and FIFA staff working at the tournament. These uniforms will be a testament to adidas’ commitment to the highest standards of quality and sustainability, helping the tournament deliver its best performance. Fans can find out more about the new look of the club tournament, including details of the qualified teams, match schedule, competition format, host cities and tickets, on FIFA.com. The participating teams and their fans can expect an exciting journey and a unique football experience in the USA starting on Sunday 14 June, as all 63 matches of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will be broadcast live and free-to-air worldwide on DAZN.com.
